 Nokia Theatre at Grand Prairie

Nokia Theatre at Grand Prairie - NextStage at Grand Prairie combines the best features of today’s performing arts centers, sports arenas, and live event theaters with state-of-the-art technology. The performance hall, with its complete flyloft and orchestra pit, is designed to accommodate events from a stage play to a rock concert. The theater is extremely versatile and flexible with movable walls and retractable sections of seating, allowing seating reconfiguration for capacities ranging from 2,200 through 6,350, without compromising the sound and sight lines. A structural steel framing system was utilized to accommodate the special features of the project: long spans in tall volume spaces and tiered seating.
